Petroleum Assessment and Remediation

We complete soil and groundwater assessment and remediation of petroleum contamination. Assessment includes soil and groundwater testing, groundwater and contaminant flow direction determination, and defining the horizontal and vertical extent of contamination.

Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)

We complete our Phase I ESAs based on the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments. Our Phase I ESAs include a site visit to visually inspect a property and complete a records search into the property’s past and current uses. Through the site visit and records search we identify uses that pose an environmental risk or a recognized environmental concern (REC) to the property. If a REC is identified then a Phase II would be completed. During a Phase II we would go out to a property and collect soil and groundwater samples to confirm if there is any contamination on a property.

Closure Assessments for Petroleum Storage Systems

We complete closure assessments as required by regulatory agencies for UST systems including the tank pits, product piping, overspill bucket, STP sump, and dispenser islands. Closure assessments include soil and groundwater testing to confirm if there has been a petroleum release at a property. We can also assist in completing regulatory paperwork such as filing a Discharge Reporting Form (DRF) if required.

SPCC Plans

Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure plan development per 40 CFR part 112.

Land Development Environmental Assessment and Remediation

We complete comprehensive soil and groundwater environmental assessment for land development. We are able to complete environmental assessments on properties such as former farm land and fish ponds. After we complete these assessments, we are able to remediate these properties that way our clients are able to develop the land for different purposes.

Gopher Tortoise Removal and Relocation

Permitted by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) to conduct gopher tortoise surveys, submit permit applications for relocation projects (Conservation Permits, 10 or Fewer Burrow Permits, and Disturbed Site Permits), capture tortoises (using bucket or live traps, or hand shovel excavation), and transport tortoises.

Overspill bucket, STP Sump, and Dispenser Testing and Compliance

We complete compliance testing which includes vacuum and hydrostatic integrity testing of Underground Storage Tank (UST) systems and components. Based on the results of compliance testing we can assist in filing paperwork to the required regulatory agencies such as completing an Incident Notification Form.
